The Ring of Chest Friendship is a passive item added in the Advanced Dungeons & Dragons update.

Upon colliding with a bullet or a golden Chests for the first time, the Ring will spawn eight additional chests along each side of the player with random contents.

The ring can spawn either regular chests or silver chests, but it cannot spawn locked golden chests. If you leave the room without picking up one of these chests, they will disappear after some seconds.

It has a chance to drop from enemies and can also be purchased from the Shop for 3.99$.

With this item you can teleport a chest to a room inside a gungeon where you have already been, but no chests have spawned in that room yet.

This chest will still contain loot, any loot that was in that room before you used the ring will be in the chest when you create this “spawn point”.

The trophy Penetrator gives you all items in Chests, Coffers, and Pinatas.

When you gain your sixth heart container, the ring of friendship will drop one heart. If you do not have 6 heart containers, it'll drop 2.

It is often overlooked because the ring creates confusion when evaluating the clear advantage in differentiating the right time to use it.

This is despite the Ring of Chest Friendship dropping hearts upon gaining your sixth heart container in both single-player and co-op game modes.
